Good night! will review the plan more using the questions on page 18 to guide me. thanks Ed for making this happen so we dont have to make up this class!!
That was pretty neat! A bit intense, like Lorelle mentioned. I prefered the blog over the discussion boards. I think some type of class chatroom may have even been better, but there are always negatives with all technologies. Lindsey
This was definitely interesting. I have never done anything like this before. I agree with Lorelle that it was intense. Hopefully the weather is better next week.
Ed, thanks for putting all of this together, so we could still have class.
Ok, that was crazy! I think I posted the same thought on that last discussion about 5 times, I did not think it was posting!!! Anyway, since I could not get a copy of the tech plan from my tech person, who else can I contact to get a copy of the tech plan? Would the principal have a copy? Jenny T.
I really preferred the blog discussion to the Olivet discussion board. I have a hard time navigating the layers of the discussion board! It makes me feel old and confused (this must be what my mom feels like when ever she tries to use the internet-poor mom!) I'd like to try the Virtual Classroom. There were a few people wandering around in there. Interesting experience overall. Have a good night everyone!
Wow, ok! I am exhausted! I think that we are to review the plans and come prepared to discuss next week. If anyone needs a tech plan to review, my districts is on our website (Jenny T., this may help you if you cant find yours). Go to: http://district146.org/technology/ Jen Ferrucci
I really enjoyed this. I am not good with technology, but it was fun once I got into the groove of it. I think this keeps us on our toes more. I do also enjoy being in class and actually discussing but this is nice every now and then.
I agree that this was intense in under 2 hours we rocked. I posted in the information for next week's class in the virtual class folder. I'll also throw it in Announcements tomorrow. Good job everyone.
I also liked the blog portion better than the chat room.
I like to refer to what you were doing tonight as "the swan." You looked calm and pulled together on the surface to all of us and your feet or hands in this case were paddling for all they were worth. My 116 pages of tech plan will take some time to get through. I will be ready for class next week!
Thanks for doing this, Ed! I am so appreciative since we wont have to meet during Christmas break. Thanks for letting me post late. I think I have hit all the spots and postings/replies that I needed. Thank you again - Have a good night. Kim Perisin
I was unable to post during the virtual class as I was only informed of class being cancelled and not the virtual forum. I believe I ahve me tthe requriements fo the posting and blogs to be submitted. I have also emailed ayou a copy of our distrcit technology plan. Plaes let me know if there is anything else that needs to be completed. Thanks,
Whew! That was intense! So for next week, we just need to review our technology plan and look for strengths and weaknesses?

i think we had to write a reflection on the tech plan process and importance. we kind of just did that.
ReplyDeleteThis was great Ed! I know it was a lot of work for you, but it is better than making it up!
